Dão: Ecopista & Bike tour experience

This package is perfect for everyone, who wants to experience the beautiful area around Quinta Lusitânia by cycling the Ecopista do Dão, a 49km long former railway line that has been transformed into a bicycle path.

Your Dão Bike tour Experience starts after your arrival at the Quinta with a delicious dinner including a glass of Dão wine from Quinta´s own production. The next morning, after gaining strength during a rich breakfast, you will be transported to Viseu, where you will start your bike tour. Along the Ecopista do Dão, there are several sights to be seen as well as opportunities to stop for a coffee and even take a dip into the Dão river.

After your arrival at the end of the cycle path, you will be transported back to the Quinta, where you can relax, before enjoying dinner. After breakfast the next morning, it is time to leave, or you prolong your stay a little bit longer.

For whom: Everyone. As the cycle path is nearly constantly going slightly downhills, it is fairly easy; even for less physically fit persons.
